The Leica GKL311 replaces the Leica GKL211 and GKL221 chargers, which have been discontinued.

Leica Geosystems has developed a new series of future-proof chargers compatible with existing & future generations of Li-Ion batteries such as the GEB211, GEB212, GEB221, GEB222, GEB241, GEB242, GEB331, GEB333, GEB334, GEB361, GEB363, GEB364, and GEB321.

What’s new?

The new GKL311 “intelligent” single-bay charger charges one battery within 8 hours. It has an onboard LED that indicates the charging progress. It monitors the status and temperature of the battery, charging according to optimum conditions, which results in a longer battery lifetime. The new design is compatible with the existing container insert slot GKL211. The country specific mains adaptor remains the same and is added to each order with an additional cigarette lighter plug for cars. The GKL311 also charges GEB241/242 Batteries.

Phase Out

The existing GKL211 and GKL221 with existing adaptor plates GDI221 and GDI222 will be phased-out immediately.

The existing GKL112 charger to charge the GEB111 and GEB121 Ni-Metal batteries will remain without changes. The GKL32 charger for the GEB171 external batteries will also remain unchanged.
